singapore idol just ended and i'm still laughing at ken's comparison btwn sly and pck. heee..it's funny..
now..if i had a biiiiiig say..i'd put taufik and oli thru to the finals. being the pauper i am, it's tough to compete with the large number of silly young girls sly has charmed and let's just hope they all suffer from amnesia and forget to vote! if only i could perform the memory charm! ('Obliviate!') haha...but i can't..so i can just hope. i'll justify my choice (and might i remind any sly supporters i'm entitled to my own opinion..so there'll be no need to bomb my tagboard with all sorts of mean things!).
firstly, oli is a powerhouse..she has the voice..and it'll be a shame to exclude her from the finals.
next, taufik is a classy performer. i like watching him perform, and for singing a disney song, he's earned some brownie points. haha..
conversely, sly has diction problems, i was pretty annoyed when he left his sentences incomplete..like he says fie in place of find, de instead of the, dat instead of that...and the list goes on. plus plus plus..he picked an andrew lloyd webber composition, not too smart given his vocal abilities (not dis-abilities la..i think he can sing, just not too well).
it's been fun being a stay home critic..hahaha...i dun have to lose my sense of hearing due to the excessive screaming in the studio..i'm sure the sound is amplified considering it's all closed up and all. i'm surprised the judges can still hear. hahaha..and no wonder they showed the funny creative ad! 'our specially designed ears are parabolic and yada yada yada...*mosquito slurps and burps*'
